Lead-generation tool
A 60-second website audit that turns visitors into leads
A free, instant scanner that grades a business's website on mobile speed, search and lead capture, emails a scorecard and points the owner to a fix.

The challenge
504 Sites sells fast, affordable websites to local businesses. The hardest part of that sale is showing an owner that their current site is costing them customers. Telling them is a sales pitch. Showing them, with their own numbers, is proof.
What we built
A free audit at audit.504sites.com that any business owner can run in about a minute:
- An instant scan. The owner enters their web address, and the tool runs Google’s Lighthouse tests through the PageSpeed Insights API, on a mobile connection, the way most local customers will visit.
- A plain-English scorecard. An overall health score out of 100, broken into four areas: mobile readiness, speed and Core Web Vitals, search engine health, and lead conversion, such as tap-to-call links and quote forms.
- The top three bottlenecks. Instead of a wall of technical findings, the report picks the three problems most likely to be costing the business calls.
- A copy in their inbox. The full scorecard is emailed through Resend, and every audit is saved as a lead in the 504 Sites database on Supabase.
- A clear next step. The report ends with a 14-day plan to fix the bottlenecks and a direct link to sign up.
Under the hood
The tool is plain JavaScript, HTML and CSS with no framework, so it loads fast. That matters for a page whose whole job is to grade other sites on speed. Google’s PageSpeed Insights API does the testing, Supabase stores the leads, and Resend delivers the email. A hidden honeypot field keeps most spam bots out of the form.
Why it matters
The audit turns a cold pitch into a free, useful service. Every scan produces a lead with the problems already identified, so the follow-up conversation starts from the owner’s own results instead of a generic sales script.
